I developed in an environment of verticalist and conservative bosses.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">This doesn&#8217;t imply they were good or bad. That would be imposing my personal judgment, but it does mean that the business dynamics have always been, and still are in many institutions, verticalist.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Although I had freedom of action, I almost always had to explain myself or &#8220;ask for permission&#8221; to innovate in some leadership matters.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">At that time, I found myself taking many risks. Decisions that some of my bosses labeled as rebellion, when in reality it was just a different form of leadership from what was taught in the chain of command and in the core of the organization. What happens when the organization has a verticalist base:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">The leadership imposed in the institution is very limited. People in leadership roles encounter certain barriers that, in moments of conscious or innovative decisions, leave no other choice but to follow the verticalist base. The model imposed by the same company that desperately seeks more committed and humane leaders in the KPIs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">The reality is that when they want to be conscious leaders, they are not allowed to be. By saying this, I&#8217;m not suggesting that rules or procedures should not be followed, but quite the opposite. From my point of view, we should focus on what types of executives we want to be for those leaders we have in our organizations and how we replicate it throughout the institution, establishing a new style of Conscious and Human leadership uniformly.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">But it&#8217;s clear that we must work intrinsically in the organization. Knowing what it wants to generate and how it wants to generate it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">What is the PURPOSE of what we do? It might be a clich\u00e9 question. But it must be answered from Corporate Responsibility.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Key: Start with the Management of the institution. Set the example. Otherwise, everything will continue to be the same and verticalist.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Every organization is reflected in its employees.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Leaders are human beings who interact with other human beings, only they have responsibilities that involve engaging with people, among other things, but they are HUMAN BEINGS.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Leaders are the ones who will lead your organization to success or failure.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Leaders are the ones who will retain our talents or let them go.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Leaders are the ones who will lead the orchestra, but the new way for the orchestra to sound perfect is for the director to be involved with the entire team of musicians.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Leaders need directors and CEOs who are more humanly responsible and committed.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Leaders need to be conscious leaders led by executives with CONSCIENCE.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Now as directors or CEOs, we must resonate with those human values, but not because it&#8217;s trendy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Because we are humans leading great projects with purpose.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">If it&#8217;s not through that, let it not be.<\/span><\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph {\"style\":{\"elements\":{\"link\":{\"color\":{\"text\":\"var:preset|color|ast-global-color-5\"}}}},\"textColor\":\"ast-global-color-5\"} -->\n<p class=\"has-ast-global-color-5-color has-text-color has-link-color\"><strong>Carla Rodriguez<\/strong><br \/><strong>La M\u00e1quina Sustentable<\/strong><\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I must be honest&#8230; I had many vertical bosses.
