Global Changes: New Dynamic Environments to Confront

We are going through many changes globally, and the world has become a very dynamic and volatile environment, which we cannot ignore or turn a deaf ear to the situations that arise around the world.

The challenges we face and will face in the very near future and for a fairly long period will be of all kinds and unprecedented.

This note is not to alarm us but to be prepared and able to adapt to the upcoming changes in the best possible way.

We find ourselves with several fronts open at the same time. Wars, economic crises, political crises, climate crises, humanitarian crises, violated rights, countries vying for resources around the world, accelerated development of AI and technology (with good or bad use of it), uncontrolled increase in prices worldwide, etc.

There are too many environments to which we are exposing ourselves from every aspect, both human and professional.

We should think of ourselves as a whole, like a large system (which is very deteriorated and transforming) to be able to interact in it, being as resilient as possible, but also being more human.

To do this, first, we must think of ourselves as individuals and then as an organization. There is no longer time for economic or developmental competitions. Now we have to think about how to surf the waves and focus on the new prospect of people we want to be based on everything we have seen and everything we have learned to not repeat the same mistakes of the past.
The change in the human BEING has to be so profound that it alters the system in such a way that we can continue to interact with the rest of the world, but from a healthier and more responsible place with an eye to the future.

For this, we must delve deep into our interior and examine ourselves. We can no longer follow models that do not work, that do not reach our hearts, or that do not allow us to work on our purpose.

We have to start reviewing what we want to achieve as human beings, rethink our internal system, and from there build with others in all areas, thus being able to align ourselves with projects that we consider can contribute to a more HUMAN world and development.

We humans are responsible for everything that is happening.
Once we turn our gaze inward and start a lifelong journey (the work on oneself), we can turn our gaze to organizations. They may have proposals for change if there are people willing to make changes that truly contribute to growth in values, innovation, diversity, and best practices for those institutions.

For me, it is important to focus on people first. What I mean by this is that we are a system in constant evolution, and we create our environment and our reality.

So:
Who am I? What are my values? What am I tuning into? Does it make me happy? What do I need to change? Who do I want to be? How can I contribute? What do I want to contribute to? Does it align with my purpose and values? There may be many more questions to BE… these are just some examples.

As for organizations:
How are we going to intervene in this environment? How are we going to intervene? What do I want to intervene in? What is in the system? How could we change it? What is our purpose? How do we align ourselves to the same outcome? How do we impact others?
What kind of organization do we want to be?

Rethinking ourselves as a system and knowing that we are part of one is the only way to intervene in the new environments we are experiencing, incorporating resilience and generating changes from action that will undoubtedly have an impact not only on us but also on our environment.

We have much to rethink. As individuals, as an institution, and as a system.
But we always have to start with oneself and do it responsibly.
The world needs us to be more human.
